Shadow Alchemy
Well this is my story I'm working on, I hope you like it.“It should work, hopefully.” Fendrel said with his eyes gleaming in anticipation. He grabbed a bottle with strange liquid and grabbed gold nugget quickly and dumped them on a big pot, which was inside of a drawing on the floor. The pot spewed out smoke, “What-.“ Fendrel said with confusion as multiple unholy shadow-looking monsters came out of the ground. Fendrel “Run.” Was all Fendrel thought. He sprinted out the door and grabbed his old silver dagger. He entered the woods, it felt cold and sinister. It was late at night and there was a mist. “What was that” Fendrel thought. “Did I get the ingredients wrong?” he thought. Fendrel strolled in the woods. While he was lost in his thoughts one of the wretched, unholy shadows slashed at him. “Agh!” Fendrel yelled as he fell. He pulled out Cobalt and slashed at the beast. It hit the shadow and smoke appeared around and it disappeared. Fendrel surveyed the area around him, suddenly another strike hit Fendrel in the back. Once again, he fell and saw the same shadow. He got back up and ran. The shadow went after him. “What am I going to do?” Fendrel thought as he ran. The shadow hit trees but reformed again. Fendrel saw the Stormcloak Fort ahead, “That is the Stormcloak Fort, it’s too dangerous, ahh I’ll have to take my chances.” He thought and ran to the entrance. “Anyone there, ANYONE?” Fendrel shouted as he pounded on the drawbridge. The shadow was closing in. “Who stands there? “A Stormcloak assassin questioned, he had a crossbow in his hands. “I need assistance, let me in!” Fendrel shouted in fear. “Now why do I have to let you in?” the Stormcloak assassin said as he eased his guared. “A beast is after me look for yourself!” Fendrel shouted once again, he pointed to the shadow. It was only 5 meters away from him. The Stormcloak assassin aimed his crossbow and shot at the shadow. The chadow exploded into smoke again. “Open the gates, we have a visitor!” the Stormcloak commanded, a few more troops pulled the lever and let the old man in. They shut the gates as soon as Fendrel
